Offer counseling and support to victims of ragging.

Consequences if Found Guilty
Suspension / Expulsion from the Institution & Hostel.
Cancellation of Admission / Debarring from Exams.
Withholding Scholarships / Results.
Fine up to ₹1 Lakh.
Rigorous Imprisonment (up to 3 years) as per law.
Entry in character certificate / Migration certificate.
Collective Punishment if perpetrators are not identified.
Awareness & Prevention
Mandatory orientation programs detailing anti-ragging rules.
Prominent display of anti-ragging notices and warnings.
Regular interactions between faculty, committee members, and students.
Signed affidavits from students and parents promising not to indulge in ragging.
Mentorship programs to guide new students positively.
